We’ll still be going ahead with an outdoor ceremony in Abberley Park if there’s a bit of drizzle, so please dress accordingly. If things really pack in, we’ll be holding the ceremony AND reception at North New Brighton Community Centre, at the later time of 3pm.

An update will be posted on the homepage and Facebook event the day before if the weather looks uncertain.

About the ceremony

Our wedding is a chance for us to confirm our life-long commitment to each other in front of our family and friends. The ceremony will not adhere to any particular faith, but will combine elements of traditional Sri Lankan ritual with Western traditions, and a few of our own.

The ceremony itself will be an ‘unplugged’ affair - we ask that you don’t take photos or videos, and refrain from using social media for the duration of the ceremony. After this, you can take all the selfies you like! We’ll use the hashtag #rosudu2018
